Developing a web site or web product
We design and develop websites or products to the standards set out by W3C for HTML and XHTML and Accessibility. We use Dreamweaver 8 to build your website or product which is fast becoming industry standard as a web design and management tool.
During development we build the architecture in which your information will sit (ie where pictures, text and links will go), then insert the information gathered during our research with you to build the final website or product.
We will let you know how development is progressing, remaining mindful of your requirements and you are welcome to see how your site or product is developing at any stage. Depending upon your requirements, development can take anything from a few days to a few weeks. We will then thoroughly test the web site or product prior to your sign off.
If we have developed a website for you then we will have already discussed domain name and hosting options. As part of the development we will have ensured optimisation of your website for the key words identified as being the best to raise your site profile on the web in a search by customers. Once you have signed off the final developed website it can then be launched. We will also register your website with Google, which is the the most popular search engine on the internet.
If it is a different type of web enabled product (for example forms or guidance) then it is available to you once we have your sign off on the final product.
Communication is key throughout the whole process. We we will keep you informed and ensure we are continuing to meet your requirements.
